When Jamie Nottberg and Lindsey Pinkham met, it was kismet. To start, they met at the gym. Soon they were seeing each other often and discovering just how many things they had in common: total foodies, physically active and wine connoisseurs. Four years after the couple met, they wed in an intimate ceremony at the Japanese Friendship Gardens in downtown Phoenix with only 25 guests. While the soirée was small, they didn’t spare on the details. The top of their wish list? A fine dining experience and a relaxed, easygoing vibe. The reception area was outfitted with comfy sofas, rugs and poufs for lounging, so people could sit back and relax all evening long. To enhance the romantic, ethereal air, strings of fairy lights and candles adorned the reception area. An abundance of dried and natural florals mingled with fluffy pampas grasses in towering arrangements, which added a layer of sophistication throughout the venue. Another highlight of the day was the petite cake—a monochromatic masterpiece with an organic touch of whimsical dried grasses. As day faded to evening, one thing clearly did not fade: the smiles on the couple’s faces.
